S.P.I.C.E. Extra Program- Trip to Greenville

**We have had an unanticipated response for this bus trip! The bus is full, but you are more than welcome to carpool and join the S.P.I.C.E. Group at the Greenville County Museum of Art at 10:00 am on August 16. Please call the temple (704-366-1948) if you would like to be added to our waiting list.

Who: All S.P.I.C.E. participants
What: A bus trip to the Greenville County Museum of Art for a docent-guided tour of more than 70 works from the first family of American painting. In celebration of the centennial of Andrew Wyeth’s birth, the GCMA presents a retrospective of his work and the work of his family members.

When: August 16, from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Where: 420 College St, Greenville, SC 29601
Why: Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009) is regarded as one of the most important American artists of the 20th century.

 

Transportation: A 57-passenger bus, equipped with a rest room, will depart from TBE at 8:30 am. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY to ensure a seat on the bus to avoid having to make your own travel arrangements.  Please see note at top. The bus is full, but you are welcome to carpool.

Cost: $10/person for GCMA tour

Lunch: On your own!  Mary’s at Falls Cottage (salads and sandwiches) OR Passerelle Bistro in Falls Park (upscale fare) are located within walking distance of the GCMA.
