S.P.I.C.E. (Special Programs of Interest and Concern to Elders) develops educational, cultural and social programs for members who are over 50 years old.

11:00 am – Rabbi Asher Knight – “Tu Bi Sh’vat – “The New year of the Trees”
12:00 – Lunch – Apricot chicken, Israeli couscous with vegetables, and apple crisp
12:45 pm – Chuck Cole, Executive Director, Trees Charlotte, a private/public collaboration, talks about Charlotte’s tree canopy, its history, and plans to grow and maintain its urban forest, and promote tree stewardship
