S’lichot

hebrewElul, the month that precedes the Jewish New Year, is considered a “wakeup call” reminding us of the High Holy Days and urging us to begin our preparations. During this time, we also observe S’lichot (translated as “forgiveness”) by participating in a meaningful study program on a Saturday evening before Rosh HaShanah.

Please visit the URJ Selichot Page for more information about S’lichot.
