hebrewElul, the month that precedes the Jewish New Year, is considered a “wakeup call” reminding us of the High Holy Days and urging us to begin our preparations. During this time, we also observe S’lichot (translated as “forgiveness”) by participating in a meaningful study program with the Shalom Park Jewish Community on a Saturday evening before Rosh Hashanah.

This year (5777 or 2017), join us for a study session, dessert reception, and S’lichot Community Service on September 16 at 8:30pm at Temple Beth El.

Please visit the URJ S’lichot Page for more information about S’lichot.
