Starting July 19, Temple Beth El and Discovered Traditions Gift Shop will be closed on Thursdays. This will allow us to reduce operating expenses while experimenting with new staffing schedules. Don't forget to join us Friday night at 5:45 pm for a warm and welcoming Preneg, followed by an uplifting Shabbat Evening Service.

S’lichot

hebrewElul, the month that precedes the Jewish New Year, is considered a “wakeup call” reminding us of the High Holy Days and urging us to begin our preparations. During this time, we also observe S’lichot (translated as “forgiveness”) by participating in a meaningful study program with the Shalom Park Jewish Community on a Saturday evening before Rosh HaShanah.

Please visit the URJ Selichot Page for more information about S’lichot.
