My favorite thing about being Jewish is that it is not like the other religions. We have more holidays, our own new year and we have the day of atonement! Becoming a Bat Mitzvah means that I have more responsibilities and duties in the eyes of God. In Sheva, I have learned that hard work pays off in the end.
I have done several things for my Mitzvah project. I volunteered at the Matthews Alive Festival to pick up trash and spent many hours helping the faculty and staff get ready for school before school started. I plan to keep learning about Judaism by attending services at Temple.
