My favorite things about being Jewish are the food and the different holidays we get to celebrate together. Becoming a Bat Mitzvah means that I am becoming a Jewish adult. I will now be able to make decisions on how I want to live out my Judaism. During these last few years of attending Sunday school, Hebrew school and Sheva and all my tutoring I have learned that I can do anything that I put my mind to; that the most important thing is to believe in myself.

For my Mitzvah project, we made bracelets for the hospital staff and cards to say thank you and show them they are appreciated. This has been a very hard time for everyone and they have been putting in so much time away from their family that I thought it would be nice to do something to show them how much they are appreciated.

Now that I am a Jewish adult, I plan to continue keeping up with holidays and traditions with my family. I would also like to join BBYO so that I can stay connected with my Jewish peers and maybe meet some others.
