Two of my favorite things about being Jewish are Matzo Ball soup, because its GOOOOOD and Hanukkah because I like to give and get gifts! My Bar Mitzvah means that I get to a part of a something bigger then myself and my family. I learned that with the right teacher(s) I was able to learn A LOT in a very short amount of time, including a new language and how to chant Torah.

I did not have an opportunity to complete a mitzvah project given the restrictions of COVID – I hope to have a chance in 2021 to volunteer at a dog shelter taking pictures and videos to post and share to increase the chance of them finding homes.

After I become bar mitzvah, I plan to continue practicing my prayers at service (virtually for now) and during the holidays with my family.
