My favorite thing about being Jewish is having a community of people who are just like me. To me, becoming a Bat Mitzvah means immersing myself more into the Jewish Community. I would like to continue going to services and learning about Judaism. During the preparation for my Bat Mitzvah, I have learned that it’s okay to ask others for help. For example, my sister was always there when I needed her help studying prayers. My Mitzvah project was baking for Mitzvah day, Challah day, and local fire departments. Baking is one of my biggest passions and I wanted to use my interests to help others in the community. I am going to continue to be part of the Jewish community by going to Sheva, observing Shabbat, and participating in community projects to help others.
