My favorite thing about being Jewish is getting to go to Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and having a good time with my Jewish friends. I love the Jewish holidays, especially celebrating Hanukkah. I like Hanukkah so much because it brings my family together and I like playing Dreidel. To me, becoming a Bat Mitzvah means to become more mature in the Jewish community. It also means to become an adult and be more responsible. I have learned about myself and that by practicing and working hard, I can master and do anything.

Due to the restrictions with COVID,  I have not started my Mitzvah project yet, but I plan to do something to help the food allergy community. I plan on going to Hebrew High and continuing to light the Shabbat candles with my family every Friday night, to keep our Jewish family traditions alive.
