One of my favorite things about being Jewish is learning new things about my religion and celebrating the traditions. Becoming a Bar Mitzvah is exciting because I am becoming a young adult and celebrating a milestone that is unique. At Sheva, I have learned a lot about tzedakah and giving back. For my mitzvah project, I have spent time serving with my family during LOVE week, volunteering my time with youth basketball, and will be donating to Kobe Bryant’s Mamba and Mambacita Foundation. As I get older, I hope to one day pass on my Jewish teachings to my own family.
