My favorite thing about being Jewish is all the holidays. They remind us of how cool our ancestors were a long time ago and the food is also great. My favorite holiday is Purim because we get to dress up in fun costumes and it reminds us of how Esther became queen to save the Jewish people even though she didn’t want to.
Becoming a bat mitzvah means I am technically an adult in Judaism. For my mitzvah project, I helped out in the gift shop at Temple Beth El. I helped out and I learned about the responsibility of running the gift shop. I hope to continue learning and living a Jewish life.
