My favorite thing about being Jewish is the atmosphere in the temple and at Hebrew school. Even though it can be boring it still can be really fun. To me becoming a Bat Mitzvah means that I have really become part of the Jewish community and can help out in so many more ways. When preparing for my Bat Mitzvah I learned that I love to learn about the Torah.

My Bat Mitzvah project was called “Mitzvah Masks.” A friend and I made masks and donated the money we made from selling the masks to a local charity. I chose this project because of the problems in the world right now and wanted to do my part in helping to solve it. I plan to continue learning about Jewish history so I can continue learning about my amazing religion.
