Honoring Yom HaShoah
Each year, Temple Beth El Brotherhood takes great pride in helping congregants commemorate Yom HaShoah, the international day of remembrance for the Holocaust, which begins at sundown on Wednesday, April 23.
We invite you to pick up a yellow candle and join Jews around the world in remembering the six million lives lost in the Holocaust. Lighting a candle is a meaningful way to reflect, honor, and commit to preserving the memory of those who perished.

About This Initiative
Temple Beth El Brotherhood fully funds this program. However, many congregants choose to contribute to help offset costs.
Donations exceeding our expenses will be given to the North Carolina Holocaust Foundation to support Holocaust education. Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, we donated $640 to the North Carolina Holocaust Foundation to provide classroom books and materials.
If you prefer to donate via cash or check, printed donation forms are available in the Temple Beth El lobby. Simply fill one out and return it with your contribution.
