Annual Meeting

Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00pm | Temple Beth El

Join us as we recap the year at our Congregational Annual Meeting! It’s a time to come together as a community, reflect on our journey, and look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.

Temple leadership will share reflections on the past year’s achievements and unveil their vision for the vibrant programs, events, and initiatives planned for 2024-2025. We’ll also dive into the financial results from 2023-2024 and discuss the proposed budget for the upcoming year.

But it’s not just about reports and approvals – it’s about community. This is your chance to be part of the conversation, vote for a new slate of board members, and help shape the future of Temple Beth El.

After the meeting, join us for a sweet celebration! Indulge in delicious ice cream sundaes as we welcome our incoming Officers and Board of Directors.

Advance registration is requested. Walk-ins are welcome.

Revealing Our Vision For the Future

After over a year of thoughtful research, analysis, and collaboration, including more than 20 congregational listening sessions, our Board and Strategic Planning Committee, we are ready to report back on our strategic framework for the next several years! Be among the first to hear about our strategic vision for the future.

This roadmap reflects the aspirations we heard from you, and we want you to be a part of our special work as we move forward together.

In discussing our plans for next year, our Board will also present a balanced budget for next year that includes initial investments under our new plan.

Forecasted Results & Proposed Budget

For a deeper dive into our Temple’s finances, you can access our Board-approved budget and financial results summary here and attend office hours with Treasurer, Steve Friedman, and Temple Beth El’s Director of Business Operations, Mark Risco.

Bylaws Amendments

At our Annual Meeting, we will vote on updates to our Bylaws to better serve our community’s ever-evolving needs and adopt best practices in Board size and governance to carry us into the future.  We are providing you with the language proposed for adoption at the meeting as well as a summary of changes for your review.  To provide everyone with the opportunity to learn more and ask questions, we are also offering office hours at the link below.

Office Hours

Because we will have limited time together during the Annual Meeting, we are offering office hours with members of our Board of Directors and professional staff for all those who would like the opportunity to ask questions and take a deeper dive on the Budget and Bylaws. Please join us by registering below.
