Please join us in congratulating Renata Rosenberg as she steps into her new role as Temple Beth El’s Program Operations Manager.
Many of you already know Renata from her time as Clergy Assistant, where she supported our clergy team, worked closely with congregants, and helped care for the many details that shape daily life at TBE.
In this new role, Renata will help support the programs and events that bring our community together. Her work will include planning, coordinating logistics, supporting program teams, and making sure the behind-the-scenes pieces are in place so people can focus on being part of the experience.
“I’m excited to continue being part of what makes Temple Beth El such a special place,” Renata said. “During my time as Clergy Assistant, I had the privilege of getting to know so many members and families and seeing our congregation from a unique perspective.”
That perspective will be important in her new role. During her time in the clergy office, Renata saw how many different ways people turn to Temple Beth El. Sometimes it is for celebration. Sometimes it is during a difficult season. Sometimes it is with a simple question that still deserves time and care.
“Working with our clergy taught me that every interaction matters,” she said. “Whether someone was celebrating a joyful occasion, going through a difficult time, or just reaching out with a question, they wanted to feel welcomed, heard, and cared for.”
For Renata, that same sense of welcome belongs in Temple Beth El’s programs and events. A successful gathering is not only about what is on the schedule. It is about how people feel when they arrive, whether they know where to go, and whether the details have been handled in a way that lets them simply be present.
“For me, a successful event is one where people feel welcomed from the moment they arrive,” she said. “When everything flows naturally, guests can focus on connecting with one another and enjoying the experience instead of thinking about the logistics.”
Of course, that kind of “natural flow” usually takes a lot of planning. Renata is energized by the work of taking an idea and figuring out how to make it happen, especially the little details that help an event run smoothly.
“I really enjoy taking an idea and figuring out how to make it happen,” she said. “I’m someone who loves planning and paying attention to the little details that make an event run smoothly.”
As she steps into this role, Renata is looking forward to helping make TBE’s programs even stronger. She is especially excited to improve processes and build systems that help our team create great experiences for the congregation.
“I’m also looking forward to collaborating with colleagues across Temple Beth El and finding new ways to make our work more efficient so we can focus even more on creating meaningful experiences for our congregation,” she said.
And when Renata is not helping keep TBE programs moving, there is a good chance she is still planning something.
You might find her on a tennis court, baking something sweet, working on a craft project, taking a walk around the neighborhood, or planning someone’s birthday party.
“I love staying busy,” she said, “especially if it involves bringing people together or creating something fun.”
We are so grateful for all Renata has already brought to Temple Beth El and excited for the care and organization she will bring to this next chapter.
