Teaching Opportunities at Temple Beth El in Charlotte for 2023-2024

The Religious School at Temple Beth El in Charlotte is seeking teachers to join our dynamic faculty for the 2023-2024 school year. We seek to create an environment where children can actively engage with their Judaism and develop a community of friends. We are especially looking for K-6 Judaic studies teachers to teach on Sunday mornings.

Ideal candidates will have some experience working with children in a school or camp setting, a passion for Judaism, and a desire to create a warm and welcoming environment for a diverse group of children. Candidates should have a familiarity with Hebrew prayers, but do not need to know Modern Hebrew and will not be responsible for teaching Hebrew decoding.

Rabbi Beth Nichols, our Director of Lifelong Jewish Learning, and our veteran teachers are eager to welcome and mentor new colleagues. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Please send your resume and any questions to Rabbi Beth Nichols.
